I did (and still do) love "Reineke Fuchs" a collection of fables arround a very tricky and clever fox.
And I love Kitsunes, those tricky and clever foxgosts of japan and china. And I thought they would be a cute match. Reineke is often painted with hunters clothes in old books and a hat with the tailfeather of a male european huntingpheasant [link] Kitsune are magical creatures who can change shape and are also known for theyr foxfires (mostly blue) |
